"Our stay was 11/10. Best day on KI was when we stayed put at the house. Made pancakes, put on our gumboots and explored the property, watched the rain through huge windows, had a lavender bath, fed the friendly roos, read books and toasted marshmallows in front of the fire. Sue was amazing - even helped to source a portacot for us to use at a separate listing. Thank you so much. If you can - stay a few nights here and then a few nights at their property on other side of island."

"First impressions amaze balls view, like it could have been a movie, rolling green pastures, friendly kangaroos, manicured lawns. The home was spacious, centrally located fireplace that warmed the whole house, plentiful firewood, well equipped kitchen, views from every window, except for the attic bedrooms, but the upstairs bathroom view more than makes up for that. Definitely a place We would like to return to and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you Sue for a lovely stay and excellent communication."

It is quite remote but that is part of the allure, lending itself to gorgeous scenery and views plus nature/wildlife right at your doorstep. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when needed. “Wow! Sue’s place on Kangaroo Island was an absolute paradise. The views to the hills and the ocean are just stunning. The sunsets and sunrises are like a dream. Every single day we saw kangaroos all over the hillsides and coming right up to the house. Seeing the kangaroos so close — including a mother and joey — was the highlight of the trip for our two young children. The wildlife on this island is truly amazing! We saw kangaroos, wallabies, eagles, an echidna, quokka and koalas. The wild koalas were just sleeping in the trees only minutes away on the side of the road. The house is wonderfully comfortable and has everything one could possibly need, including beach chairs, beach towels and a beach shade shelter. We saw so many pristine beaches that were never crowded. At times we were the only ones on the beach. It really is such a special place and an absolute natural paradise here. This has been one of our very favorite vacations. Thank you for the memories!”
